Why are certain items restricted or unavailable for promotion / sale?

River Rat Hockey must adhere to regulations and standards set forth by vendors and manufacturers. Accordingly, certain products must or may be excluded from offers and promotions ran by River Rat Hockey. These restrictions are set by the manufacturer or vendor and apply to ALL retailers, not just River Rat Hockey.

What does MAP stand for?

• MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Price.
• If a product is MAP Restricted or Covered by MAP, that means that the lowest possible price has been set by the manufacturer and NO COMPANY, including us, can discount the product to below that price.

Manufacturer Policies

• Mylec:
• Bauer: "Offer excludes current Bauer products."
• CCM: "Does not include Reebok-CCM products covered by MAP"
